Hey Ankur,

I've covered a large chunk of the Youtube course that you offer and I'm mind blown at how incredible it is, every step of the way. I wanted to write an email personally to you to share gratitude.

The transparency, lack of gatekeeping is so so admirable and truly helps people (at least me) learn. I've found answers to everything possible, logistical, technical and emotional aspects- all of it. I will not enlist them because it'll be an endless list.

I think it's safe to say it's the best course I have personally come across in person or online and I'm so grateful for what you do.

As someone who needs practice for public speaking, is very type A, structured I have found so much encouragement and have learnt that all of that and having what's considered a creative career is possible. I have wanted to live a life of meaning, help people (that's been my why since I've graduated almost 5 years ago and thought about it), really enjoy what I do, be ethical and make a good number from it, whether or not I ever start a channel, it tells me all of this is possible and that is so heartening.

It truly gave me awareness and whatever I decide will be done from a place of awareness. It does exactly what you set out to do.

Thank you again for putting the wonderful course together :)

Warmly,
Ria Mittal

Good morning, Ankur.

I had enrolled in your course, Make Writing a Career.

A couple of years ago, I had self-published a book (Tales from Talegaon and Other Short Stories). Some of these stories were semi-autobiographical, and some were pure fiction.

Initially, I thought that short stories were my niche. However, after the book, I was stuck. I had no stories to tell, and I couldn't think of anything else that I could write on.

That's when I took your course.

I did the course diligently and followed the process you so clearly explained. I found my WHY ("In a world where you can be anything, be kind").

I have just now completed the first draft of my book and will shortly start editing it. I have named the book "Oceans of Notions, from the Shah of Blah." The book is an amalgamation of my readings, writings, and even my WhatsApp status messages!

The book contains my reflections on life, kindness, poetry, strength, courage, and the transformative power we each possess to make our world better.
My thoughts appear in no particular sequence; hence, the title "Oceans of Notions from the Shah of Blah!"

I intend to self-publish this book too. I am not on any social media. But I will soon be on Instagram & Facebook to promote my book.

This email is to thank you and is a token of my gratitude for your guidance.

Yours sincerely,

Hemendra Killawala

Dear Warikoo,

I am Richa residing in Kerala, recently shifted from Gurgoan out of choice. Had been avoiding learning Instagram for the longest time and finally felt a deep need to learn it as I felt I am hitting the wall.I couldn’t stop myself in searching your email id where I could just pore my heart out after I started watching and consuming this course. I reached module 2- target audience and something shifted in me. Just before this moment I had an urgency inside me that I am left behind as the world is moving @ so much speed and I need to be there quickly and start posting day in day out on Instagram . It was a forced feeling picked up from my environment and not a deep internal desire. After rewatching the modules, Now I am choosing to reach deep inside me rather than reaching where the world is reaching, I am choosing to respect and acknowledge what I like to do, how I like to do with full passion. In my words, “Jo bhi karo, mazaa aana chahiye”.

Thank you for bringing up such enriching learnings and these are just not courses specifically to teach somewhere, these learnings have multiple layers and they are showing changes and awareness @ the deepest level.
Keep rising, keep shining..would see you in person someday, somewhere for sure.

Deeply in gratitude
Richa

Dear Ankur,

27th February 2026 was my last working day at Amazon and hopefully my last working day in the corporate.

Why am I telling you this?
Because you played a major role in making me aware.

So here's the story:
I've always loved reading novels since I was a kid, and words have always fascinated me. But I never wanted to write a book and become an author.

So 12 years ago, when I finished school, and it was time for me to choose my graduation subject, like every other middle-class student in India, I chose engineering. No one forced me, but back then, we had very limited exposure.

The internet was extremely expensive, and we just had a dongle that my dad used to recharge every month with 1 GB for 1000 bucks. That 1 GB had to be used over a period of 1 month, and today we have 1 GB/day. Just how times change.

So, because of a lack of internet and exposure (and of course, my own lack of willingness to put a bit more effort), I couldn't research well. Had I done so, I would've chosen mass communication and journalism.

I knew about the subject back then, too, but I thought it was for people who want to become either news reporters or journalists. And I didn't want to become either.

Hence, I enrolled in software engineering.
Graduated.
I hated coding from the bottom of my heart.
Worked in the corporate for 7 years before quitting.

Then came December 2024, when I came across WebVeda's course - Make Writing a Career.
I already loved the way you teach through your YouTube videos. I think you're a great teacher. (You also helped me start my investing journey, by the way :))

I bought the course, and it taught me the various ways through which I can make writing a full-time career without publishing a book.

It made me aware of the world of digital writing and how valuable that skill can be, if done right. I delved into it deeper on the internet and got to know about ghostwriting.

I explored LinkedIn ghostwriting and absolutely loved it. Since January 2025, I've been writing on LinkedIn consistently. I occasionally write on Medium as well.

And after a lot of consistent efforts and saving money like crazy, I could finally quit my job in February 2026.

That being said, I'm forever grateful for my corporate journey, for that gave me the opportunity to earn when I really needed it, and the ability to save money so that I could quit my job. It also made me understand how businesses work and how to think from a business perspective.

So, Ankur, I have only gratitude towards life and want to thank you a lot for being such an amazing teacher and making your courses affordable enough so that every student can purchase and learn from them. Because the MWAC course literally changed the course of my life, for the good.

I know you read all your emails, so I thought of thanking you by writing to you.

My LinkedIn (I’d love to connect with you on LinkedIn)
My Medium (I’d also appreciate any feedback on my Medium blogs if you get the chance)

Warm regards,

Warm regards,
Debolina
